Barbados: Johan Botha shines as South Africa thrashed West Indies by 7 wickets in the third test here on Tuesday in Kensington Oval, Bridgetown.
South Africa wrapped up a three match test series by 2-0 agianst West Indies.
Earlier, West Indies won the toss and chose to bat first. West Indies was all out for 231 in 73.5 Overs. Bravo scored 61 and Deonarine scored 46 and helped their own team to reach respectable score. Botha took 4 wickets and Steyn took 3 wickets.
In reply South Africa is all out for 346 in 134.4 overs. Smith, de Villiers, Prince scored well 70's to get the lead of 115 Runs. Benn bowled excellently and took six wickets to restrict the South Africans.
In the Second innings West Indies batsmen are not played well except Chanderpaul and all out for 161 on day 3. South African Fast bowlers bowled well in this match.
Chasing 47 for victory, the South Africans reached their target about 25 minutes before lunch on the fourth day at Kensington Oval
The result meant that South Africa wrapped up a 2-0 series victory, after they also won the first Test inside four days by 163 runs at Queen's Park Oval in Trinidad, and the second Test was drawn at Warner Park in St. Kitts.
J Botha was the successful bowler as he took 4 wickets and DW Steyn took 3 wickets to end West Indies inning at the score of 231.
Johan Botha was named Man-of-the-Match for his match figures of seven for 102, and Dale Steyn was named Man-of-the-Series for his 15 wickets at 18.13 runs apiece.
