Butt dismissed for 92

Lords: Chasing a record 440 runs to win, Salman Butt played a well made 92 before he was dismissed by Marcus North to keep the Pakistan chase alive in the fourth day of the first Test match between Australia and Pakistan at Lords.

Pakistan batting resuming the days play at 114 for the loss of Imran Farhat, with Butt and rookie Azhar Ali went on to add 38 runs before Azhar was dismissed for 42 runs off the bowling of Hilfenhaus.

The duo put up a well made century partnership after Pakistan had lost Imran Farhat when the Pakistan score was 50. However, Butt was looking solid at the other end and he went on to make 92 runs, eight runs short of his century to give a solid foundation for the rest of the batting line-up to follow.
