Galle: Muttiah Muralithran struck twice again to wipe off the Indian batting tail and finish off with yet another 5-wicket haul in his illustrious career, soon as play resumed after lunch at Galle.

The Indians were allout for 276 runs.

Murali had earlier picked up two wickets in quick succession towards the end of first session of play, to put the Indians in a misery. The ace off-spinner had got rid off the dangerous Yuvraj Singh and clean bowled Dhoni to send the duo back to the pavilion.

Yuvraj Singh and Mahendra Singh Dhoni were playing along nicely for the Indians before being dismissed by the off-spinner who is making his final show in Test Cricket.

The duo had put up a partnership of 74 runs before it was broken by Murali. Yuvraj made a half century(52) before he was dismissed and Dhoni struck 33 runs.

Earlier, the Indians were really struggling with their batting as centurion Virender Sehwag and VVS Laxman had departed in quick succession.

Chanaka Welegedara had struck a lethal blow to dismiss dangerous Sehwag who scored 109 runs off 118 balls before he got out. Soon Laxman followed him just within three overs, Malinga got Laxman to put the hosts at a commanding position.

India had ended with 140 for the loss of three wickets at the close of day 3.
