Headingley: Australian pacemen Shane Watson with a six wicket haul and Ricky Ponting later on with an unbeaten half century led Australia's recovery in the second Test match against Pakistan at Headingley.
Australia are currently 136 for the loss of two wickets in their second innings, still trailing by 34 runs as play was stopped because of bad light.

Captain Ricky Ponting scored a brilliant unbeaten half century(61*) along with Michael Clarke at the other end to help Australia, coast along without losing a wicket in the final session of play. The duo have put together 81 runs unbeaten partnership, almost Australia's first innings score of 88.
Australia had got off to a shaky start in their second innings as Katich was bowled round his legs by Aamer when Australia had just 15 runs on the board.
Earlier All-rounder, Shane Watson earlier had cleaned up the Pakistan lower order as Pakistan lost their last five wickets for just 40 runs as play resumed after lunch.
Watson finished off with impressive figures of 6-33 in 11 overs, as Pakistan failed to capitalize on their good advantage, an opportunity to bat Australia out of the game.
Resuming the second day's play at 148/3, Pakistan batsmen had added 70 runs to their over night score to increase their lead to 130 runs as play was stopped for lunch.
