Murali, Kumble likely to come together

Indian ace spinner Anil Kumble has always wanted to open up a spin academy in Bangalore. With Sri Lankan spin wizard Muttiah Muralitharan's retirement, the spin academy is likely to be opened very soon.

According to DHNS report Muralitharan said that Kumble has been in touch with him regarding his spin academy plans.

"He has plans of starting an academy in Bangalore and wants me to be a part of it, to help him out," "I told him I will be there, and of course I will be there," Murali said.

Kumble added that he had not specifically decided when he will be commencing the academy. He said that the academy is on the pipeline, but that things are at a very preliminary stage.

"We are looking to see if Murali could spare time Now that he has retired from Test cricket, he will be have more time at his disposal and that should come in handy," Kumble said.
