Aamer strikes for Pakistan to dismiss Cook

England opt to bat first at Trent Bridge

Trent Bridge: England lost their opener Alastair Cook of the bowling of Mohammad Aamer in the first day of the first Test match at Trent Bridge.

Captain Struass, the other opener for England has played well and is nearing his half century for the hosts.

Earlier, England had won the toss and decided to bat first in overcast conditions at Trent Bridge in the first of the four test series against Pakistan.
