Asif rip past England batting

Trent Bridge: Mohammad Asif's lethal spell gave Pakistan a dream start restricting the England score to 354 in the second day of the opening Test match between Pakistan and England at Trent Bridge.

Asif picked up four England wickets to put the bring the Pakistan side back in contention after Morgan and Collingwood's good show yesterday. England just added 23 runs and lost six wickets to let go off their promising position. Asif who had yesterday got one wicket finished up with a five wickets haul in the innings.

Resuming play at 331/4, Asif sent back overnight batsmen Collingwood early and then followed it up with Morgan's wicket. Swann and Anderson batsmen to follow didn't trouble the scorers either. Incidentally all his five scalps was lbw.

Stuart Broad was the final man to be dismissed off the bowling Umar Gul.
