India will clash against Sri Lanka on Monday in the third match of the tri-series hoping to wipe off their poor outing in the opening match against the New Zealand side and stay in the series hunt in Dambulla.
The Indian camp are facing major problems at present with some key players out due to injury. Captain Dhoni reportedly walked off the practice session as he was not happy with the pitch offered for practice.
Dinesh Karthik filling in the opening slot for injured Gautam Gambhir is now himself doubtful with an injury for tommorow's match.
Munaf Patel is likely to make a comeback for rookie Abhimanyu Mithun who just managed to bowl four overs in the opening match.
Sri Lanka on the other hand had an impressive start in the tri-series, beating the Black Caps in their opening encounter.
Their bowling was exceptional with Lasith Malinga leading from the front. The fast bowler was lethal as ever and troubled the Kiwi batting line up throughout his spell. He will be a key force against the already struggling Indian batting side who will be looking to outshine him.
The Sri Lankan spinners were impressive as well with Rangana Herath and Ajantha Mendis making a strong impact in the middle overs against the Black Caps. Angelo Mathews was very impressive as well, complementing Maling well at the other end.
