Bangalore Royal Challengers batsman Manish Pandey strongly feels that the upcoming Champions League T20 will be a good opportunity for the youngsters to come up with strong performances and get noticed by selectors for the senior national team.
Manish Pandey, who did have a good IPL second season which was played in South Africa, is himself expecting a berth in Team India through the tournament.
“Champions League Twenty20 is a big stage for youngsters like me," Pandey said.
He said further, “Because consistent performance in this tournament will give me chance to knock the door of the Indian team which is a dream of every cricketer."
Talking about the Royal Challengers Bangalore, which is the much talked Indian team in the CLT20 2010 game, he said, “I think the team is doing very well, it is gelling well which is evident from the results of our practice matches. So far we have won all three of our practice games."
When asked about the comparing IPL and CLT20, the right hand batsman said, “There is nothing much difference in IPL and CLT20 but I feel CLT20 is step ahead of IPL because here you have to compete against the best of the world."
