Port Elizabeth: KFC T20 Big Bash champions Victorian Bushrangers will start of their Champions League T20 2010 campaign against a confident Chevrolet Warriors side who thrashed Wayamba in their first match.
The Warriors were very impressive against Wayamba, defeating them by seven-wickets and will be hoping to continue on with their good show when they face against Bushrangers.
Mark Boucher was very impressive as he led his side to victory in the opening game.
However, the Bushranger side is renowned to be a tough T20 outfit and will be a tough team to beat. They will miss the services of their regular captain Cameroon White who is currently representing Royal Challenger Bangalore.
David Hussey will be leading the side in his absence and he will be determined to start off on a winning note. Semi-finalists in the first edition of the Champions League, the team will be hoping to up their mark this time around.
The team consists of fine players like Brad Hodge and Hussey himself who have wealth of experience in the shortest format of cricket. And upcoming players like Rob Quiney and Aaron have shown a lot of promise in recent past playing for Bushrangers.
They have an excellent bowling line-up as well with the likes of Dirk Nannes, Clint McKay, Peter Siddle, Shane Harwood. McKay was among the highest wicket takers in the first edition of the Champions League.
All in all, the match is set to be a cracker of a game with tough fight from both sides.
