Durban: Mumbai Indians after their shocking defeat against Highveld Lions in their opening match will be hoping to bounce back and register a win when they clash against South Australia Redbacks in their group B clash at Durban.
South Australia Redbacks, the runners up in the KFC Big Bash T20 were excellent in their first outing against the Lions where they managed to win by 11 runs.
Though they don't have big players in their ranks, they did well as a unit and will be a tough side to beat. They have fast bowler Shaun Tait who is the only player considered to be a big player.
On the other side, though Mumbai Indians captain Sachin Tendulkar scored a delightful half century in their opening clash, the MI ended on a losing note.
The star studded team with the likes of - Keiron Pollard, JP Duminy, Lasith Malinga, Zaheer Khan - will be hoping to outclass the Redbacks and claim their first win.
The Mumbai Indians in the first match were let down by their bowlers and fielders, the bowlers were not able to get their acts together and the fielding was very ordinary.
Tendulkars captaincy was highly questioned as well, the strategy of rotating the bowlers on a regular basis didn't work out for his team.
So, the team have to get their bowling and fielding right if they are to defeat the Redbacks, who are (as already mentioned) a tough side to beat and won't go down easy without a fight.
