Pakistan trio set to meet ICC

The three Pakistan suspended players accused of spot-fixing are expected to have a preliminary hearing with the ICC next month.

Test captain Salman Butt and bowlers Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Aamer have all been suspended by the ICC and are being investigated by Scotland Yard police in Britain.

A first ICC hearing into the suspension is expected to take place in late October, according to the Pakistan Cricket Board's legal adviser Tafazzul Rizvi.

Meanwhile, former Pakistan captain Rashid Latif has reportedly resigned as wicketkeeping coach in the Pakistan Cricket Board(PCB) after being issued a show-cause notice for making comment about the spot-fixing and betting scandal on a television show.
