Royal Challengers Vs Redbacks: Preview

Durban: After an impressive win against Guyana in their opening encounter Bangalore Royal Challenger will clash against a charged up South Australia Redbacks who has had two consecutive victories in the tournament so far.

This will be Bangalore's first real test as the Redbacks seem to be one of the favorites to make it to the semi-finals after successive wins against Highveld Lions and Mumbai Indians.

The team from Bangalore have a star studded line-up but they will have to play out of their skin to beat Redbacks. Kallis was impressive with both ball and the bat in their first outing against Guyana and he will be hoping to continue on with his good form against Redbacks.

Pacers Dale Steyn and Praveen Kumar were excellent as well, along with Kallis in the bowling department.

Anil Kumble himself along with Nayan Doshi in the spinning department were impressive in the first match. With his experience, Kumble was the most economical bowler in their first outing, so he will play a big part against Redbacks.

For the Redbacks skipper Michael Klinger has led from the front with his excellent form batting upfront. He has scored two consecutive half-century in the last two matches, guiding his team to victory on both the occasions. Infact, he is the second highest scorer in the League so far, just behind Mumbai Indians skipper Sachin Tendulkar.

His opening partner Daniel Harris was exceptional in the last match against Mumbai Indians and he will be another key figure for the Redbacks.

In the bowling department, Shaun Tait will be the man to watch out for South Australia Redbacks.

If, Redbacks manages to outplay the Royal Challengers and win the match, they will confirm their spot in the semi-finals. Whereas, if the Royal Challengers manages to beat Redbacks, they will be strong favorites to lead the group and finish on top.

All in the all, the teams will go all-out and the match is likely to be one classic encounter.
