Indian middle order batsman Yuvraj Singh is likely to be discarded from the Indian squad for the upcoming two-match Test series against Australia according to media reports.
The BCCI"s National Selection Committee will meet on Monday to pick the squad for two-match Test series.
Yuvraj who has been struggling for form and fitness in the past year or so is likely to be dropped from the team due to his injury while Saurashtra player Cheteshwar Pujara has been tipped to get his maiden call to the national team.
In India's recent Test series against Sri Lanka, Yuvraj scored half century in the first Test against Sri Lanka but missed remaining two matches due to injury.
In the absence of Yuvraj, Suresh Raina sealed his place with a hundred on debut match. Indian bowling spearhead Zaheer Khan is all set to return to the side after long injury.
It is expected that selectors will pick three seamers and three spinners, Harbhajan, Amit Mishra and Pragyan Ojha.
