PCB likely to sack Aaqib and Ijaz

The Pakistan Cricket Board(PCB) is likely to sack Pakistan assistant coaches Aaqib Javed and Ijaz Ahmed from the squad before the upcoming series against South Africa.

Some reports suggested that the players had some issues with both the coaches during Pakistan's disastrous tour of England which led to an ordinary performance of the duo during the tour.

PCB chairman Ijaz Butt who is currently in England is likely to make a formal announcement once he is back following his meeting with the ECB bosses over the remarks he made on the England players being involved in match-fixing in the recently concluded ODI series against Pakistan.

It is also believed that head coach Waqar Younis has also had some issues with the selection committee which could result in Waqar being an unlikely member of the selection meets in the future.

The senior players in the Pakistan team have also had some differences with Waqar Younis during the England tour after Pakistan's loss in both the T20 matches against England.
