Kolkata : India's most successful former captain Sourav Ganguly praising his former co opener and team mate Sachin said that he is indeed the best cricketer in the world.
“I haven"t seen Sir Donald Bradman playing, but I have seen Sachin. To me, he himself is a milestone, and the best cricketer in the world." Ganguly expressed.
The south paw further adding to Sachin's glory after being bestowed with the ICC Cricketer of the year award said he(Sachin) has been the source of inspiration and role model for many cricketers.
“He is 37 now and is still going strong. He has proved that performance is the last word in cricket," Ganguly said.
Ganguly also applauded Indian Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni for his leadership skills and contributions to the Indian Cricket Team, with a word of advice not to take the veterans like Sachin and Dravid lightly

“Dhoni is undoubtedly a very good captain. He has helped Indian cricket grow. But at the same time, we should not forget that there are players like Sachin and Rahul in the team, who are match-winners. Cricket is a team game," Ganguly added.
