The second test at the Chinnaswamy stadium will go down in the record books as the stadium where Sachin tendulkar the only cricketer on the face of this planet to have gone past this humongous figure.
The glorious runs came form the bat of the Master Blaster in the 26th over of the first Innings of the Second Test against Australia in Bangalore when he rocked back on to the back foot and thumped a fractionally short delivery from Nathen Hauritz to get past the milestone of 14,000.
The crowd at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore were on their feet for the God of Cricket, even the rival captain Ricky Ponting could not stop applauding the magical achievement by the maestro.
Sachin Tendulkar has a career spanning over two decades and has played 171 test matches, the most by any cricketer and scored 14,000 plus runs, along with 48 test centuries and 57 half centuries to his name.
