An official complaint has been launched by the BCCI with the Chennai Police Commissioner against the former Indian Premier League (IPL) chief Lalit Modi.
The decision of lodging the complain was taken by the AGM of BCCI, Secretary N.Srinivasan stated.
The complaint was launched basing on the grounds of misappropriation of funds, and concerning the media rights and security issues during the duty period of the former IPL cheif Lalit Modi.
BCCI after axing the top teams Rajasthan Royals and Kings XI Punjab from the league on grounds of violation of the franchisee agreement, has gone further to take this step and lodge an official complaint against Modi.
The filing of the complaint against Modi was confirmed by Chennai Police Commissioner T Rajendra.
