Australian fast bowler Brett Lee will play in New Zealand's domestic Twenty20 cricket competition, which will start from Dec 2010.
Media reported that Brett Lee has signed to play for Wellington province. Lee will play five rounds of the 10-round competition as he has to play for New South Wales state side in Australia.
Earlier on Sunday, Oct 17 Lee played in a comeback match for New South Wales against Western Australia and picked 2 wickets for 37 runs in 11 overs.
The 33-year-old pacer is aiming to return to the country's squad for ODI and T-20 matches. Eminent players like South Africa's Herschelle Gibbs, Australia's Brad Hodge and David Warner are also playing in New Zealand.
