India and Australia will go head on in the 2nd ODI at Andhra Pradesh's scenic Vishakapatnam in District Cricket Association Stadium at 2:30 pm (09:00 GMT) on Wednesday, Oct 20.
The match is expected to be a close one as there is absolutely no chance for errors for the contending teams. While India would aim at continuing the glory won in the recently concluded test series against the same rival time, Aussies, on the other hand, would be aiming to overturn the loss.
Both teams have decided to rest some of the key players with the eye on the 2011 World Cup.
Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Zaheer Khan, Harbhajan Singh, Pragyan Ojha, and Ishant Sharma will be missing in action for India. Shouldering their absence would be youngsters like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Saurabh Tiwary, Murali Vijay, and R Ashwin.
