Power-hitting batsman Yusuf Pathan and nifty off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin are expected to be included in India's 30-member strong World Cup probables list by the selectors.
Baroda and Rajasthan's Royals' Pathan bludgeoned his way to 123 not out off 98 balls with seven sixes and seven fours fours in the fourth ODI at Bangalore against New Zealand on Dec 7, as well as took crucial wickets with his off breaks in the series. Tamil Nadu and Chennai Superkings' Ashwin captured the highest number of wickets in the bilateral rubber with 9 scalps.
Also expected to be included in the World Cup squad is southpaw Parthiv Patel, who made the most of his chances in the series with two 50s. Meanwhile, surprise inclusions in the 30-man list is unlikely, which would be trimmed when the final squad for the mega event is announced on Dec 19.
