Sachin returns to One-Day side

Indian run-machine Sachin Tendulkar, will be breaking back into one-day fold as he joins he Indian limited overs squad for the upcoming ODI series against South Africa. The Little Master makes a comeback after nearly a year. His last one-day game was against the same opponents in Gwalior when he shattered the record for the highest ODI score with his scintillating 20o not out.

He will also be getting in much-needed match practice in the five-game series as it will be India's last one-day assignment before the World Cup 2011 commences.

The selectors have decided to go into the upcoming ODI engagement at full strength. Leg-spinner Piyush Chawla is the only new name in the 16-man list, having played a sole one-dayer back in 2008. Off-spinner Ravindra Jadeja has been excluded, while Yusuf Pathan, who bludgeoned his way back into the reckoning with a match-winning 123 against New Zealand at Bangalore recently, has been retained.

There was however, no place foir Ishant Sharma who last played against Sri Lanka in August.
