New Delhi, Feb 25: Explosive Indian opener Virender Sehwag was struck by a fierce bouncer from Zaheer Khan's during the Indian team's practice session in Bangalore ahead of the crucial World Cup match against England on Sunday.
Sehwag was promptly rushed to the dressing room for medical treatment.
Earlier on Thursday, southpaw Yuvraj Singh injured his hand during a nets session as well, raising concerns about his fitness for the match against England.
Yuvraj picked up the minor injury on his hand after being hit by a delivery from bowler Sreesanth, a cameraman said. The left-hander quit practice for the day to seek medical attention.
