MI Malinga's five-for keeps Delhi to 95

With Sehwag at the crease, the Daredevils' innings was bound to get off to a blistering start... and it did. Sehwag hit a six over long off off Harbahajan Singh in just the fourth ball as 10 runs came off the first over.

But in the second over, Malinga hit back by cleaning up David Warner for 1, with an inswinging yorker and then dismantling Unmukt Chand in similar fashion, for a duck. The Daredevils were in trouble at 11/2 in 1.4 overs. Sehwag counter attacked with a four to round off the over, before knocking another boundary off slow-left-armer Ali Murtaza in the next over.

Then Malinga bowled a rare IPL maiden to Sehwag. Aaron Finch struck his first four courtesy a cover-drive off Murtaza. But two balls later, there was trouble when Sehwag was run out. The Devil's captain was on his way for 19 off 16 balls thanks to a direct hit from Sachin Tendulkar and the former's side was tottering at 27/3 inn 4.4 overs.

The new batsman Naman Ojha got off the mark with a third man boundary off Munaf Patel, before smashing the bowler for a six. Then Finch swept Harbhajan straight down the throat of Ambati Rayudu at square leg as the Daredevils were reduced to 40/4 in 7 overs. Venugopal Rao brought up the Devils' 50 with a deft paddle sweep fine for four off Munaf.

In the 13th over, Murtaza dropped a tough return catch from Ojha before Davy Jacobs missed a stumping chance later in the over as the score ticked onto 73/5 in 13 overs. But the same bowler ended up getting the wicket of Ojha when he had him caught at long off for 29 off 30 balls.

Then the new batsman Irfan Pathan was immediately run out for as duck as the Daredevils slumped to 82/6 in 14.2 overs. Then Malinga returned to pegged back the off stump of Venugoapl Rao for 26 off 25 balls and the unsettled themiddle stump off MOrne MOrkel for a duck. The Daredevils were looking at the bottom of the barrel at 88/8.

Harbhajan Singh got Umesh Yadav stumped for a duck before Malinga had Dinda caught at mid-off as Delhi was bowled out for 95 in 17.4 overs.
