Talking to reporters here, Sangakkara, who led his country in the recent World Cup, felt the trend of using spinners early may be a good option as the wicket appeared helpful for the slow bowlers.
"It looks like a wicket lacking pace and bounce and may just help the slow bowlers. I think depending on the wicket, spin in the first few overs may just be a great option," Sangakkara said.
He further said that we have got a couple of good spinners in (Pragyan) Ojha and (Amit) Mishra.
"Even Jean-Paul Duminy can be handy with his off-spin," he added.
Meanwhile, talking about their last defeat against Chennai Super Kings (CSK), KKR skipper Jacques Kallis said that the team needed to improve on its fielding.
"We can (improve) some fielding from the last game, perhaps our fielding led us down a little bit and also you probably win a game 99 times out of hundred with 4-5 wickets in hand, 9 runs off 8 balls. So I don''t think too much different, you know it''s just one of those games where which unfortunately got away from us. I think we lost it rather than Chennai winning it," said Kallis. (ANI)
