Chennai, Oct 14: Captain Kaushik Gandhi and V Ganga Sridhar Raju hit centuries to Tamil Nadu pile up 356 for four in 90 overs against Maharashtra on the first day of the Under-22 C K Nayudu cricket tournament here today.
Electing to bat, Tamil Nadu lost two early wickets but Kaushik and Ganga Sridhar consolidated their innings with a 288-run stand for the third wicket in 67.1 overs.
Rotating their strikes well, Kaushik made a chanceless 155 before being separated from Ganga Sridhar, who made 142 (225 balls). Kaushik's 155 came off 247 balls and contained 21 fours and four sixes.
