Hussey all praise for captain Clarke

Potchefstroom, Oct 31: The new era has begun. Time to clinch the top spot again in all forms of the game. The Australian team has taken its own time to revamp and show the world why they ought to be considered the best team. Enormous trial and error methods with the team composition, has helped them to select the best squad over the last few years.

It all started with this talented youngster Michael Clarke, who took over as captain after Ricky Ponting's stint and since then, the team has been performing extremely well. After a chain of series wins against Bangladesh and Srilanka, the latest being the ODI seires win 2-1 against South Africa. This clearly marks the beginning of a new era. Elated by this development and success, Mike Hussey shares his views and also shows gratitude to his skipper.

Asked about how he felt after the series win against South Africa, he said "We do want to play under Michael and I think we're definitely going in the right direction". "If you want to be part of this Australian team, you've got to go with the captain and we respect the way he wants to take the team," Hussey said.

This indeed has been a great year for Australian cricket. All credit goes to the skipper, Clarke. Michael Hussey was all praise for his captain. "It's been great for him personally - he's really taken the role with a full head of steam. "He's very passionate about the role and he's very clear in how he wants to lead the team", he said.
