Cape Town, Nov 10: All-rounder Shane Watson demolished South Africa's batsmen after lunch as the home side were bowled out for just 96 runs on the second day of the first Test at Newlands.

Replying to Australia's first innings total of 284, South Africa reached a score of 49 for one man out Jacques Rudolph.
But Watson joined the attack immediately after lunch and stunned South Africa's leading batsmen with a spell of five wickets in 20 balls to end up with 5-17 off five overs.
In the first over after lunch, Hashim Amla was trapped lbw for three and Jacques Kallis edged a hook on to his shoulder and then to second slip for a duck.
Both decisions were given not out by the on-field officials before Australia won successful reviews.
Graeme Smith got an inside edge cutting the ball to his stumps and Ashwell Prince was trapped lbw by a yorker from the all-rounder completing his five-wicket haul when Mark Boucher was trapped lbw.
Ryan Harris gave Watson superb support with four for 33, claiming the wickets of AB de Villiers, Vernon Philander and Imran Tahir as well as Rudolph.
Aussie skipper Michael Clarke scored 151 helping Australia reach 284 in the first innings. Replying to that South Africa were bowled out for 96 with Watson's impressive spell.
Second innings did not prove productive for the visitors as they scored just 13 runs with three wickets down before tea.
