
Dubai, Nov 19: Sri Lankan middle order batsman Mahela Jayawardene joins the elite club as he reached the 10000 run mark, during the third one day international against Pakistan at Dubai on Friday.
The 34 year old became the ninth batsman to achieve this feat in One day Internationals and the second Sri Lankan to score 10000 runs in ODIs after Sanath Jayasurya.
His knock of 17 against Pakistan in the third one dayer, helped him reach the milestone as he crossed the 10000 run mark while he was on 13. With 8 players ahead of him in the table,
