Perth, Jan 10: Indian pace spearhead, Zaheer Khan defended Team India's stand for choosing go-karting ahead of the practice session on Monday at Perth after the team decided to take some time off cricket.
After two humiliating losses in the first two Tests, India took a break for three days as they relaxed and spent some time off cricket ahead of their must win match against Australia at Perth starting on Friday.
But the team's decision to stay off practice for three consecutive days would definitely raise a few eye-brows.
Though the team took 3 days break, the pacer was quite confident of providing a good show and stage a comeback at Perth.
This tour too, quite similar to the previous series in 2007-08, is being marred by controversies. With two more Tests to go, Indian cricketers' behaviour at check, team management is keeping its fingers crossed as they do not want to complicate the issue and have already instructed the cricketers to stay away from twitter and other social networking sites.
The management in order to prevent Aussies from clinching the series at Perth, has given instructions to Team India and also allowed them to take a break for 3 days after their innings and 68 run loss to Australia at Sydney, to destress them.
Now, the question is after taking sufficient break, can MS Dhoni's boys stage a comeback and save this test?
