Adelaide, Jan 19: India's VVS Laxman was the only batsman who came out to practice, while the rest of the cricketers chose to go shopping ahead of the fourth and final Test at Adelaide starting next Tuesday.
Laxman, yet again shows his dedication as he directly went to the nets after reaching Adelaide on Thursday, as he spent some time fixing the glitches in his batting, while Rahul Dravid, MS Dhoni (serving a one match ban), R Ashwin, bowling coach Eric Simmons and other support staff.
After dismissing speculations regarding his retirement after a dismal show in the current series against Australia on Wednesday, Laxman preferred to practice as he showed a lot of determination in order to get back to his usual best at Adelaide.
With a total just above 100 off six innings in the series so far, averages a mere 17. Ageing plays a vital role to the problems he has been facing off late, whether its his languid fielding, back problems, poor form which has prompted reports that he would be the first veteran to feel the heat, before the Adelaide Test.
Now, with such dedication and hard work, VVS Laxman can definitely make a difference at Adelaide.
