Sri Lanka's warm-up match rained out
Canberra, Feb 3: Sri Lanka practice match ahead of the tri-series featuring Australia and India has been rained out on Friday.

Sri Lanka was supposed to play a tour game against Prime Minister's XI led by Aussie wicket keeper Brad Haddin, who has been dropped from the ODI squad for the tri-series starting on Sunday, Feb 5.

Due to persistent rain at the Manuka Oval this morning, the officials were forced to abandon the match four later as the match was supposed to start at 10 am.

Abandoning the practice match suggests that Sri Lanka, after their ODI and Test series loss to South Africa last month are going to face the beleaguered Indian team in their first match on Wednesday at Perth, while the series opener will be played at Melbourne between India and Australia.
