New Delhi, Feb 6: Shabnam Singh, mother of India's stylish left-hander Yuvraj Singh, who has been detected with lung cancer and is undergoing chemotheraphy in US, has said her son is fine and that he will be seen in action soon.
Yuvraj's mother who is currently in Boston, where her son is undergoing chemotheraphy at a Cancer Institute, has said "He is fine and will be back soon on the field. Don't worry,"as quoted by a national daily.
Yuvraj was diagnosed with a non-malignant tumour of the lungs last year and was reported as cancer on Sunday.
Earlier, Shabnam Singh had announced that Yuvraj was diagnosed with a non-malignant tumour, and the family had neglected to go into more details before the diagnosis as he was just coughing and vomitting during the World Cup 2011 and had assumed that was due to stress and his desire to excel on the biggest stage and had ignored it.
Now, with the recent development, reports confirming that Yuvraj Singh has lung cancer and is undergoing treatment for the same at Boston has created a sympathy wave as many have come forward to lend their support in cash and kind, for the battling left-hander as he is recuperating from this dangerous disease.
