Islamabad, Feb 26: Former Pakistan speedster Shoaib Akhtar escaped serious injury after his car slammed into a concrete block near the Prime Minister Secretariat on Sunday, Geo News reported.
Akhtar was returning home from a five-star hotel when the accident took place. The front portion of the car was badly damaged after Akhtar lost control of his speeding car and rammed into a barricade, The Express Tribune reported.
Akhtar was lucky to come out of it unhurt, however, the police did not register any case against the former pacer and allowed him to go home.
