New Delhi, Feb 28: Team India's poor run at the on-going tri series featuring Australia and Sri Lanka has left the selectors in dilemma, as reports suggest that master blaster Sachin Tendulkar and vice captain Virender Sehwag may not be considered for Asia Cup starting from March 11, 2012.
According to reports, Tendulkar and Sehwag, currently going through a bad patch, will not be considered ahead of team selection for Asia Cup on Feb 29, 2012.
Sehwag's form ahs been a nightmare to the team and for the cricketer himself, as the continued bad form might result in his axeing from the team for India's upcoming tournament, Asia Cup to be held in Bangladesh from March 11.
He has managed only 35 runs from four games and supposedly his words speak more than his bat, as he was involved in a verbal spat with skipper MS Dhoni that also led to speculations of a rift in the team.
Due to his bad form, selectors might drop him from Asia Cup and Sachin Tendulkar might be rested. Selectors are planning to give Tendulkar some rest, as he can take time off his 100th international ton, to create history.
