Melbourne, Feb 29: Australian legendary spinner Shane Warne feels that the Michael Clarke's team is the best Australian team has the potential to become the best side.
"About what this Australian cricket team can achieve, I think it can go all the way and become one of the best sides that has ever played for Australia," said Warne, who was inducted into the Australian Cricket Hall of Fame on Monday.
"We're very well-led by Michael Clarke, we've got such a wonderful array of talent ... and up-and-coming talent, so it's in really good shape," he was quoted as saying by Fox Sports.
The former leg spinner who bid audieu to International cricket in the year 2007, after claiming 708 Test wickets, termed the future of Australia cricket as exciting and would overcome the transition period soon.
"I think if we look at the Australian team at the moment and the people on the fringe, we're at an exciting time," Warne said.
