New Delhi, Mar 1: India's stylish batsman Yuvraj Singh, who is under-going treatment for rare germ-cell cancer in the US, has completed second cycle of chemotherapy and is feeling weak after the treatment.
"Second cycle has finished today ! Had a bleomycin shot feeling weak but I'm sure tom will be a better day ! My next scan dated on 7th march," the 30-year-old cricketer posted on Twitter.
Last month, when he tweeted on Feb 16, the second cycle of chemo had started and he had very happy that the tumour was out of the system.
Dr Einhorn, one of the best cancer doctors in the world who is currently treating Yuvraj Singh had also treated the seven time Tour de France champion, Lance Amstrong, who was detected with testicular cancer in the year 1996.
Lance Amstrong, had sent a letter to Yuvi stating that his 'LIVESTRONG' team is also with the batsman, and further said that his team truly believes in the title, which inspired
Yuvraj Singh, and gave him the courage to undergo the treatment.
After reading the message from Lance, Yuvi tweeted on his twitter page, saying @lancearmstrong makes me feel better ! Thank you lance means a lot hope we can meet."
Having completed two cycles of chemotherapy, and the treatment to go on till the last week of March, looks like Yuvraj will resume action from the first week of May as doctors stated earlier.
