Ojha eyes comeback

New Delhi, Mar 8: Left arm spinner Pragyan Ojha eyes Indian Premier League as an opportunity to impress the selectors and stage a comeback to the national side.

The left arm spinner was ignored for the Asia Cup after being denied a chance to play in the four match Test series against Australia, though he was included in the squad last year.

Currently playing for Hyderabad in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, Ojha said "I am looking forward to this year's IPL to prove myself. It's only a matter of time and I am try to take things positively in my stride."

Ojha, remained in the sidelines throughout the Test series as team mate Ashwin was preferred, while he was replaced by Rahul Sharma for the ODI series against Australia and Sri Lanka.

Selectors continued to ignore him as he was not considered for the Asia Cup which is scheduled to start from March 11, 2012.

"Getting selected (in the team) is not in my hands, it is the selectors' job. I am looking forward to the domestic season, which is very important for me," he said.
