Bangalore, Mar 10: Indian left-hand batsman Yuvraj Singh expressed his tribute to Rahul Dravid on Twitter. Rahul Dravid, who retired from international cricket on Friday.
"Legend has walked into the cricketing sunset. Privileged to share the dressing room with Jammy", tweeted Yuvraj, who is recovering from a lung ailment in Boston.
Yuvraj and Dravid shared the dressing room for several years and the southpaw was full of praise for "The Wall". "Man with grit, determination and exemplary work ethic. his preparation never dipped his concentration never wavered", said another tweet from Yuvraj.
Yuvraj made his Test debut under the captaincy of Rahul Dravid in 2003 said that he will be missed in world cricket and the batting legend would be an inspiration for generations to come.
Yuvraj also wished Dravid for a better future, which is expected to be highly associated with cricket. "Have a great retired life. Wishing you and your family best of health and happiness..", tweeted Yuvraj.
Dravid retired from international cricket to make way for youngsters to take over and allow the team to find his successor in the immense talent floating around the country.
Yuvraj, who is undergoing chemotherapy in the US has been out of action since November 2011 and is expected to be back later this year.
