Here is what they said:
Former India fast bowler Javagal Srinath
It's indeed a proud moment for all of us. What we need to see is that there is a great amount of effort that has gone into it. I think Sachin's incredible feat of hundred tons cannot be matched by anyone else.
Former India spinner Sunil Joshi
Sachin's hundredth ton is really amazing achievement. I am really proud to have shared the dressing room with the greatest cricketer. A hearty congratulations to Sachin on marking a greatest feat in the history of cricket. His fitness and focus are incredible. It's amazing and hats off to Sachin.
Former India paceman Venkatesh Prasad
Its an amazing moment. Hats off to Sachin and proud to have played with him. It's the most awaited ton for every Indian cricket fan. For some time now, it was huge burden on his shoulders and am glad it has finally ended in Bangladesh. I feel that in some corner of his mind he must have hoped that his hundredth ton would come against the mighty Australia. This achievement shows his commitment and focus towards the game. He is an epitome of discipline and determination. A great moment indeed.
