New Delhi, Mar 22: Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar to be felicitated in the Parliament for his recent feat of completing his 100th ton, according to Parliament sources.
It is learnt that Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar has written a letter to one of the officials regarding the issue but the details haven't been worked out yet, said the source.
A couple of days ago, both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha had congratulated the legend on achieving the rare feat of completing 100 international centuries which cannot be emulated in the years to come.
Tendulkar reached this milestone on March 16, 2012 during the match against Bangladesh at Dhaka as he scored a brilliant 114.
Earlier, there were reports that Sachin Tendulka might be conferred with the Bharat Ratna, which might be a befitting one since he has achieved the impossible which cannot be emulated by any cricketer in the near future.
With sources suggesting plans to felicitate the legend which was rather expected, would be befitting as Tendulkar's contribution to the game speaks volumes, and he deserves to be honoured.
