Great to be back with RCB: Vinay

Bangalore, Mar 27: Royal Challengers Bangalore's Vinay Kumar has said that he is very happy to be back in Bangalore playing for his home team after a short stint with Kochi Tuskers Kerala in 2011 while the pressure has also increased after an impressive international stint.

After impressing everyone with his performance in the recently concluded tri-series against Australia and Sri Lanka, he was bought by RCB, in the auction held on February 4, 2012.

Vinay who was bought by Mallya-owned RCB for $1 million has said, the deal woild put more pressure on the player to perform.

"Irrespective of the deal, the pressure is always there to perform. If you keep thinking about the money you will not be able to play well," Vinay was quoted as saying by Times of India.

"I missed playing for RCB last season. It's a great feeling to be back," he added.

Vinay, who is back with the home team, has said  the current team has been good and it has the potential to put up a good fight.

"We have Chris Gayle, a maverick who can change the course of the game. Then we have AB de Villiers, Virat Kohli, Tillakaratne Dilshan and Saurabh Tiwary. In bowling, we have Zaheer Khan, Praveen Kumar, Muttiah Muralitharan and captain Daniel Vettori, providing teeth and experience to the bowling," he said.
