Bangalore, Apr 1: Promising Delhi batsman Unmukt Chand will lead the India U-19 cricket team in the upcoming Australian tour during which it will play in a quadrangular one-day tournament starting April 5.
Akshdeep Nath of UP has been named Chand's deputy in the 16-member squad. Besides India and host Australia, the tournament will feature England and New Zealand.
The tournament will kick off with Australia taking on England on the opening day, with India slated to play New Zealand the following day.
The tournament concludes with the two finals - on April 15 - while the semifinals are scheduled to be held on April 13. The squad was picked by the All India junior selection committee in its meeting on March 22.
