Dubai, Apr 13: Australian fast bowlers Ben Hilfenhaus and Ryan Harris have achieved their highest ever bowling ratings in the ICC Test rankings after guiding their team to a thrilling three-wicket victory over the West Indies in the first Test in Barbados.
Harris, who took three wickets for 31 during the second innings, was adjudged man of the match. Harris climbed five places to 16th in the rankings, reaching his highest-ever ratings with 614 points, the ICC said in a statement.
Hilfenhaus, who not only clinched four wickets for 27 runs during the second innings, but also scored the match-winning runs, jumped three places to the eighth spot with 751 points.
West Indies veteran batsman Shivnarine Chanderpaul, who scored a century in the first innings, moved up three places to fifth in the batting rankings. Darren Bravo achieved his career-best ratings with 695 points but remains 21st in the batting rankings.
South Africa's AB de Villiers remains at the number one spot as Australia's skipper Michael Clarke slipped to third position and Aussie veteran Ricky Ponting, also slipped to 19th.
