New Delhi, Apr 14: Yuvraj Singh, after his return to India following his treatment for a rare germ cell cancer, has been visited by most of his friends, mostly from the cricket world as Harbhajan Singh is the latest to visit him on Saturday morning.
The Mumbai Indians skipper, who took a break off his schedule as Mumbai play their next match on Monday, against Delhi Daredevils, paid a visit to Yuvraj's residence this morning and tweeted the same on a social networking site Twitter.
"Met the Badshah today. He is in good spirits and will be back soon," tweeted the spinner along with this picture.
After returning to India, Yuvraj had a surprise visitor in Kevin Pietersen, who paid a visit to the World Cup hero's residence on Thursday.
"Great to hook up with the pie chucker...," tweeted Pietersen after meeting Yuvraj on Thursday.
He also posted a picture taken with Yuvraj Singh on Twitter, like Harbhajan Singh.
"I was lucky enough to speak to Yuvraj last night before his return from London. As a sportsperson, our job is to accommodate and follow our fellow cricketers in their difficult times. Yuvraj is a fighter and he will fight through this period also," the Englishman had said.
Union and agriculture minister Sharad Pawar and BCCI President N Srinivasan also met Yuvraj at his residence after his return to the country following the completion of his treatment for germ cell cancer at a Cancer Institute in Boston, US.
"Was great to meet N Srinivasan and some inspiring words from Sharad Pawar today, and great support from Badal in the news,(sic)" Yuvraj wrote on his 'Twitter' page.
Interestingly Indian cricketing legends, Anil Kumble and Sachin Tendulkar visited him during his toughest phase of life, while he was undergoing treatment for his rare germ cell cancer.
