Bangalore, Apr 17: Pune Warriors skipper Sourav Ganguly has said his team should not take the hosts, Royal Challengers Bangalore lightly though they have lost three consecutive defeats ahead of Tuesday's clash at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore.
Moreover, RCB has immense power to come back at any point of the tournament.
"I don't think in this format anybody is a favourite. Tomorrow is a new day and could be different. RCB has some terrific players who can change things. But we are looking to fire tomorrow as well," he told reporters at the pre-match press conference on Monday.
Talking to reporters in the pre-match conference, contrary to Vettori's remarks on chasing targets on M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Ganguly said the strip looks good for batting.
Vettori had said that the pitch changes in second innings, making life difficult for batsmen.
Ganguly pleased with his team's performance so far in the fifth edition of IPL, said the team has registered wins against formidable units such as Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians.
"We have played well and have won three out of the four matches. We beat Mumbai and Chennai, but it is still early days. It is time for everyone to get back into form," he said.
Though Ganguly's men are termed favourites to win the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore, the former Indian skipper believes that Challengers can put up a good fight any time during the course of the tournament ahead of their clash on Tuesday.
