Mishra warned for using foul language

Jaipur, Apr 18: Deccan Chargers' Amit Mishra was warned for using foul language during their clash against Rajasthan Royals on Tuesday at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.

After scoring 196/2, Deccan Chargers faced another defeat at the hands of Rajasthan Royals, as they hammered Chargers' bowling attack to reach the target with two balls to spare.

Amit Mishra, grabbed three wickets in 4 overs, and conceded 32 runs. His three wicket haul helped Deccan Chargers to come back, after Rahul Dravid and Rahane hammered the bowlers for 62 runs in the powerplay to set the tone for the daunting chase.

After grabbing three wickets, Deccan Chargers lost the plot as poor fielding cost them the match.

Mishra, received an official warning and reprimand for Level 1 offence (Article 2.1.4) of the use of offensive language.

"Mr Mishra admitted the offence and accepted the sanction," an IPL release said.

In view of the IPL Code of Conduct and a Level 1 offence, the Match referee's decision is said to be final.
