Bangalore, Apr 25: The return leg match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Chennai Super Kings was called off due to persistent rain. For the second time in two days, both teams shared points as rain played spoilsport at the M Chinnaswamy stadium in Bangalore.
The match was called off at 11 pm. On-field umpires Billy Doctrove and Sudhir Asnani called off the match after heavy downpour.
The toss had taken place after a delay for more than an hour, stand-in skipper Virat Kohli chose to field after winning the toss. Kohli had to lead the side in the absence of skipper Daniel Vettori who was ruled out of this tie due to a hamstring injury.
