Jaipur, May 2: A knee fracture forces Rajasthan Royals all-rounder Kevon Cooper to miss the remaining games of IPL 5 as doctors have advised him to be out of action for four or five weeks.
The all-rounder has already created an impact as he has been the leading wicket-taker for Royals, with 10 wickets from 6 matches. Dravid's XI will miss his services in the next few games as they need to win as many matches as possible in order to qualify for the play-offs.
"He has come in as a young kid and performed exceptionally well and done some difficult jobs for us," Dravid said.
Cooper who has represented Royals in the fifth edition, featured in the cash-rich league for the first time since its inception.
Bought for US $50,000 by Rajasthan Royals, the 23 year old has had a dream debut in IPL 5, as he picked up four wickets and hit a six off the first ball he faced against Kings XI Punjab. Having played six games, he has taken 10 wickets at an economy rate of 7.25.
