Ganguly, most 'googled' among captains

Kolkata, May 4: Though Pune Warriors have lost four matches in a row, Sourav Ganguly inspired team has been drawing more attention amongst people as the former Indian skipper's name has been searched many a times on the search engine, Google, when compared to other IPL captains.

According to the search engine, Ganguly's name is googled more as it has got the maximum hits, when compared to other key words such as MS Dhoni and Rahul Dravid.

Rajasthan Royals skipper Rahul Dravid is placed second, behind Ganguly while Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni comes third according to Google India press release.

"(Sourav) Ganguly is still leading the pack by being searched most among the IPL captains," the release said on basis of a comparative study done over a month.

"As we come towards the middle of this season's IPL when the teams and players have been divided on popularity based on their performances, Ganguly is proving the facts wrong."

Comparing between keywords like 'MS Dhoni', 'Virender Sehwag', 'Sourav Ganguly', 'Rahul Dravid' and 'Gautam Gambhir', the left-handed batsman, the former Indian skipper who is hugely popular in Kolkata got the maximum hits.
